Chanteuses

Chanteuses is an upper voices vocal group who meet in the Leighton Buzzard area.  We specialise in singing arrangements of contemporary composers such as Roger Emerson, Eric Whitacre, Fiona Lander, Elaine Hagenburg, Jenny Mahler, Sarah Quartel, Tracy Wong, Philip Stopford and John Rutter. 

Our singers come from Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.  We meet on Tuesday evening at Southcott Lower School, Linslade, Leighton Buzzard between 7.30pm and 9.00pm, for a minimum of 30 rehearsals per year. 

Now in our third year we have performed in the National Trust’s Claydon House, St Leonard’s Church Heath and Reach, Milton Keynes Community Choir Festival 2023 St Barnabas Church Linslade and All Saints Church, Soulbury and are always looking for new venues in which to perform.

Chanteuses currently has a small number of vacancies to maintain an ensemble of up to 35 voices.

• Vocal tuition from an experienced choral leader and qualified vocal health practitioner
